Gateway Financial was founded on a simple principle – expert advice should always put the client first.
After successfully establishing ourselves as a one-stop-shop for insurance services, we expanded our portfolio to include mortgages and financial advice. This growth allowed us to bring our unrivalled customer service and knowledge to every area of our clients’ financial lives.

David Arthur is the principal of Gateway Financial Group, bringing extensive experience and a proven track record in guiding clients through every aspect of the mortgage journey. With deep expertise across residential, buy-to-let, remortgage and specialist lending, he is known for delivering clear, strategic advice with meticulous attention to detail. David’s approachable, client-focused style ensures solutions are tailored, transparent and aligned with long-term goals. Gareth is a Director of Gateway Financial Group, providing strategic oversight and governance at board level. While not involved in the day-to-day running of the business, Gareth plays a key role in supporting the firm’s long-term vision, structure, and sustainable growth. He brings a strong commercial perspective and experience in business strategy, helping to guide decision-making and ensure robust governance standards are maintained.
